Sugin Elankavi Rajendran, also known as Dr. Ser, is currently working as a Senior Research Engineer in the R&D Department at Haystack Robotics. With a strong blend of academic and industry experience, Dr. Ser previously served as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Centre for Industrial Automation at Chennai Institute of Technology. Earlier in his career, he was a Teaching cum Research Associate at Hindustan University, where his outstanding contributions earned him the prestigious Founder Dr. K.C. G. Verghese Award for Best Research Scholar (2023).

He holds a Ph.D. in Robotics and Automation from Hindustan University. His expertise lies in advanced robotics, where he works on cutting-edge technologies to address complex industrial challenges and drive innovation.
